Highway Morning by RoBBoX Highway Morning by RoBBoX
Early morning hoping to catch the sunrise over the city.
Everyone else ([link] and [link]) was at the other side of the bridge I was on, watching the sky.
This is one of 3 images I'll be submiting to the [C]Spaces exhibit this month, hopefully one of them will win me some money, first prize is $1,000!!

Scanned a negative of Fuji Reala, 6x6, shot on my Bronica SQ-Ai with a 80mm Zenzanon S.

EDIT: Didn't win, but I did update the picture with a scan from the negative with an Imacon 363, so much sharper, so much better color rendition.
Compare with the old one here, [link] the Imacons are simply amazing.

this 1 has great colours and like the lighting effect on the road. This pic is a bit off my personal style, so I find it a bit hard to comment on. All I can say is that I like the concept... nice angle aslo... so very nice as a whole.

Brilliant colours and lights, I just dig motorway shots like these although it is a pity that the sky is so grainy. :/
But, concidering the fact that this is a scan, it is really amazing quality - brilliantly sharp rendition of a theme.

Ah, it's not that grainy in the negative, maybe I should just pop open PS again and noise ninja that sky...

Very cool ! I like the quality of this night shot, so clear, the lights, and I even the big lamp is not a problem to me. Adds to this realistic photo

It's pretty distracting on the thumb, but barely even noticable in the print.

Haha.
Yeah, defenitely a tripod.
Anything slower than 1/30th of a second should be shot with a tripod for the most part.

I think including the two bridges was a great idea . . . . makes it different from 'all the other' long exposure road shots. It looks like it's actually part of something larger, a city 'on the move'.

The triangular shapes give it a strong sense of movement, too, sucking the viewer into the distance. Cool :)
